Slim's Cabins offers 3 different boat-in outposts in Northeastern Saskatchewan. These remote fishing cabins offer an unforgettable experience in some of Canada's most pristine wilderness. Guests are welcome to bring their own boats, but we also have a fleet of rental boats available with everything you will need.

Pita Lake: Boat-In
- Located 33 miles upriver from the base camp
- One 3 bedroom cabin sleeps 11 people
- BBQ, L.P. gas, fully equipped kitchen
- Hot and cold running water and indoor shower and vanity, outhouse
- New dock and fish filet table
- $199.00+tax per person per night (includes cabin/boat & all gas)
- Cabin only - Bring own boat. $99+tax per person per night. Includes launching and parking at base camp for your vehicle and trailer.
Scottie's Beach
- 15-mile boat trip upriver from Slim's base camp.
- 1 Cabin and 3 bunkhouses on a sand beach facing south overlooking the lake
- Hot and cold running water, 1 shower house, 3 outhouses
- Screened in fish filet shack
- Max capacity 24 guests, 10 guest minimum charge
- $199.00+tax per person per night (includes cabin/boat, all gas)
- Cabin only - Bring own boat. $99+tax per person per night. Includes: parking & launch at base camp for your vehicle and trailer
Cameron's Point
- Located 14 miles upriver from Slim's Cabins base camp
- 1 cabin and two bunkhouses, shower house, outhouse, full kitchen, deep freeze
- On a small point with sand beach on both sides
- 4-12 person capacity
- $199.00+tax per person per night (includes cabin/boat, all gas)
- $99+tax per person per night. Include launch at base camp and parking for your vehicle and trailer.
What We Provide & Sell at our Onsite Store
WE PROVIDE,
- fitted mattress sheet, bath mat, toilet paper, firewood
- BBQ, propane fish cooker, all dishes in cabin
- propane appliances (fridge, 4 burner stove & oven, deep freezer)
- hot & cold running water, shower, outhouse(no indoor toilet)
OUR ONSITE STORE SELLS,
- ice, minnows, worms, tackle & rods, drinks & snacks, clothing, hats, river maps
- miscellaneous sundries
What You Need to Bring
- BRING PLENTY OF GARBAGE BAGS! ALL YOUR GARBAGE MUST COME BACK WITH YOU!
- Your sleeping bag or blankets and pillow. Bring your personal toiletries.
- Bring shower towels, hand towels, face clothes, dish washing & drying cloths, dish soap
- Bring your food. The cabin will have utensils, pots, pans etc you need to prepare and enjoy your meals.
- Bring drinking water or a hand pump (sold at outdoor stores) to pump drinking water from the lake. Or boil lake water.
- Your fishing gear. This includes landing nets. WE DO NOT SUPPLY LANDING NETS.
- Folding chairs for around fire pit or relaxing
- Your shore lunch kit if you want to have a shore lunch
- Flashlight and lantern are a good idea
